Free Walk for Rigify 2.0.♦ | 1.0.♦ | 0.1.♦ | 0.0.♦
“create amazing and custom walks for humans”
Free Walk is an addon that creates walking animations for Rigify rigs. You can customize the animation through the controls and generate animations in two formats:
cycle or free. In both cases, you can preview the animation in real time.
“just place your character in the reference pose and start to walk”
It's very easy to start playing; you just need to place your character in the reference pose to calibrate the addon.
After doing this, you'll be able to see the character in motion with just one click.
Then, customize and control the movements as desired, and when you achieve the expected result, simply convert the preview into an action.
“now with 4 types of animation”
The database has been expanded with more animations.
It now features four walking types: drunk, normal, rotated, and zombie, offering more options to customize your animations.
“walk forward, sideways, and backward”
In addition to forward walking animations, it's now also possible to walk right, left, and backward.
Easily change this via the panel. In free movement mode, you can change at a specific step, alternating directions in the same preview.

Why the word Free?
The addon has a free sequence mode to move the body freely without the root. You can direct each step and freeze the animation to edit the character's pose. This make it easier to create a walk on an uneven ground, for example, make the character avoid obstacles, go up a slope or go down a curb.
